All of it ships with the app: on the underground, on a plane and with no signal, the handbook opens exactly as it does at home.

SAMPLES THAT RUN

A sample from an article runs on the page and shows what it does — the markup, the styles and what it prints. The run button is only offered where the sample actually works: every one of them was executed and checked, and those needing a compiler or a network do not offer it.

QUIZZES, THREE WAYS

• Options — as usual, with an explanation for every question

• Swipe — one answer on a card: right if it is correct, left if it is not

• Cards — the question on the front, the answer and its explanation on the back

The same question asked differently: picking the right answer out of four and knowing it are not the same thing.

LANGUAGES

Russian, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The language comes from the phone.

PRIVACY

No ads, no accounts, no analytics: the app collects nothing about you.

It reads without a network — the internet is only needed to open a link out of it.

The documentation is under the licences of its authors; every handbook says where it comes from and under which licence.
