NOS Communicator

NOS Communicator is a multiplatform application currently available for smartphone, tablet and laptop / desktop. This application is a softclient, optional and an integral part of NOS Comunicações SA's IP telephony, video communications and service management solutions.

Note: To use this softclient it is necessary to have the NOS UC communications cloud service from NOS Comunicações SA active and the subscription of the respective option.

With NOS Communicator, its users now have an advanced multimedia device available, with an intuitive and coherent interface between the various types of platforms, fully integrated with the services and advanced features of the NOS UC service.

NOS Communicator integrated in NOS solutions allows:

- Make calls or video calls via your smartphone;

- Carry out transfers, conferences, park and retrieve calls in a simple and intuitive way;

- Configure the most necessary options for your mobile fixed voice service, namely: forwarding, do not disturb, anonymous number or simultaneous ringing;

- Integrate your corporate directory with your personal contacts present on your smartphone;

- Consult the call log;

- Extend or enjoy your fixed extension outside the office, anywhere;

- Have a single identity for multiple devices (IP phones, several softclients);

- Change the answering device during a call without loss of continuity of conversation;

- Enjoy your conditions of your communications service outside the office at no extra cost.

Additionally, with NOS Communicator, you can access the subscription to the optional collaboration module, consisting of the following services:

- Corporate Instant Messaging;

- Collaboration presence;

- Virtual personal room for audio and video conferencing, to hold meetings in an agile and dedicated way.

In order to use this softclient it is necessary:

- Being a customer and having the NOS UC communications service of NOS Comunicações SA;

- Subscribe to the option corresponding to the use of NOS Communicator;

- Have a LAN, Wi-Fi or 3G / 4G mobile data connection;

- Have direct or indirect access to public Internet service for DNS name resolution.
