Nirsham is working to make it safer to live in our community by empowering good citizens who would like to take action against those people who the world unsafe. Our philosophy is based on two guiding principles:

1. Most people are good and want to live in a positive environment.

2. The majority of perpetrators are aware that their actions are wrong but break rules anyway because they are not concerned about being caught!

Nirsham is empowering citizens by greatly increasing the spread of capturing systems so perpetrators should assume that they will be caught and prosecuted for their actions. Citizens downloading this free application to their smart phone can photograph perpetrators of offensive acts on the road.

A simple press of a button automatically sends these images to the appropriate authorities for prosecution, by-passing the usual bureaucracy and hardship associated with reporting offenders.

How does Nirsham work?

Smart phone users download the free Nirsham application from traditional distribution channels (Google Play, iStore etc). Once installed on the phone, users can photograph driving offenders and send these pictures to a central server categorized as: Traffic violators, Road bullies or Accidents and road hazards

A long push on the shutter button will take a continuous stream of pictures documenting the case, and will then prompt the user to categorize the documented case to one of the appropriate categories listed above. The documented case and category are automatically sent to Nirsham servers for further processing by a dedicated team. Nirsham selectors will review the images to ensure the spirit of the site is maintained. If the images are acceptable they will be posted to the public Nirsham website (www.Nirsham.co.il) .

Upon entering the site users will see a large window animating the documented case taken by the smartphone user. The animation helps to provide context to the captured images and clearly highlight the undesired behavior. Users will vote on the appropriate course of action to be taken by Nirsham.

After a week, Nirsham will review user responses and take action, reporting the offense to the correct authorities. Based on agreements with authorities, Nirsham reports will be given the appropriate consideration and action will be taken!

We are confident that mass Nirsham deployment will serve as a deterrent, reducing car accidents and injuries and saving lives.
