My Glucocompteur was designed in collaboration with the adult and infant diabetology teams of the Toulouse University Hospital Center, caregivers and patients.
Testimony of Jacqueline Delaunay, dietician in the diabetology department of Professor Hélène Hanaire of the Toulouse University Hospital: "The interest of this Glucocomputer as a health professional is the support during meals. Indeed, calculating to eat is far from natural and the use of an assistant is a facilitator. Simplified, average and memorable carbohydrate values, the possibility of calculating recipes and keeping favorite meals, of entering industrial ready meals from the labels is a precious help. Finally and frankly, accompanying patients to eat while having fun while controlling blood sugar levels is not the dream of any diabetology caregiver! ”
Testimony of Professor Hélène Hanaire of Toulouse University Hospital: "As a diabetologist following diabetic people treated with insulin, I know the daily difficulty of estimating the content of meals. Anything that can save patients time and accuracy in meal management is precious, making them more comfortable and more free. The paper version of this tool was a success. The development of the application, with the support of Sanofi, has made this tool even more accessible and easy to use in everyday life. "
