Provides hourly updates of water quality in streams around Kansas City
KCWaterBug is an application developed by KCWaters.org, which provides hourly updates of water quality at numerous streams throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. The application provides a color coded alert based on an estimate of the amount of bacteria that may be found in a particular stream using known relationships between bacteria concentrations and basic water quality parameters.
Citizens can use this information to make informed decisions about recreation at Kansas City area streams.
