“Herbal Gujarat” provides you detailed information about herbal remedies.

“Herbal Gujarat” provides you detailed information about herbal remedies applied by the indigenous tribesmen in Gujarat. In this application, we have incorporated information about 100 popular medicinal plants found in Gujarat state. Soon, the plants will be added and updated with more entries.

The application is designed in such a way where one can learn a lot about herbs, families and their vernacular names. We have incorporated photographs of each herb mentioned in the application so that identification becomes easier. Clicking over hyperlink of a plant name shows image of the same. As you proceed through the content of the application, you would find description where traditional herbal formulations are discussed. Plants can be searched in multiple ways i.e. Botanical name, Hindi name and Gujarati names and the complete profile can be retrieved.

There is a separate SEARCH option is given at the top of screen. Type anything, application would search and retrieve the information below at the screen. For instance, if we search “Anemia”, the search results will be appeared and further we may go through the search results for details. The application is available for Android users only.
