GIMM Mobile

App that allows greater interaction between the Union of Parishes and the Population!

The Union of Parishes of Guia, Ilha and Mata Mourisca, through its President (Gonçalo Ramos) is pleased to announce the launch of the "GIMM Mobile" App.

The App offers a range of possibilities for interaction between Citizens and the Union of Parishes, and vice versa and in this very delicate phase, it will contribute to the approximation of governance strategies adapted to the needs of the population. Using this solution, citizens now have access to the pulse of local activity in real time via their mobile phones.

It is a pioneering experience in the sense of integrating mobile applications and geographic information systems, using standardized and georeferenced information in the management of resources, human resources and services to support the population (prescription, for example).

The application is being designed to support the Junta during the pandemic and be another management and support tool for the congregation and joint efforts aimed at helping households and isolated cases already signaled by the Social Commission of the Parish and the Union of Parishes of GIMM.

When installing the "GIMM Mobile" application, the Citizen takes advantage of his smartphone and starts to have a closer communication, registration of requests / occurrences and perception of events / global opinion transmitted to the União de Freguesias. In other words, the citizen not only has instant access to the most relevant information about the events around him, but also a simple way to request georeferenced support that facilitates its quick location.
