Developed by UK charity Best Beginnings and The Centre for Research Excellence in Stillbirth (Stillbirth CRE), in collaboration with parents, healthcare professionals and partner charities across the UK and Australia, Baby Buddy is with you throughout your pregnancy and the start of your parenting journey, day by day. Whether you're a mum, dad, co-parent or caregiver, Baby Buddy is here to empower you to feel confident; giving you the knowledge and practical skills to look after yourself and give your child the best start.

- Get bite-sized advice and information every day throughout pregnancy and the first month of your baby’s life.

- Find out what to expect as your baby grows and what you can do to support their mental and physical development. From the developing fetus to labour, bonding to breastfeeding, Baby Buddy brings you the best information from trusted Australian organisations, charities, and leading experts, through short videos and articles delivered straight to your phone.

- Create your personal support and care plan and note down questions to ask your midwife, doctor or child and family nurse.

- Track your baby’s development, record special memories, write letters to your baby, and share information and photos safely with your partner and other members of the family.

- The app includes a digital personal child health record where you can record growth, vaccinations, and developmental milestones.

- Looking after your own wellbeing is just as important. Use Baby Buddy to help you stay healthy during your pregnancy and after birth, with information about healthy food choices, exercise, and common pregnancy disorders, including those affecting mental health.

- Baby Buddy is here to support you in all your relationships – with your baby, with your partner and/or family and with your health professionals.

Now adapted for Australia, Baby Buddy is made in partnership with parents just like you, and through their feedback, this new version of Baby Buddy builds on its trusted information and brings a wealth of new features, creating a personalised journey for every user. This first version of Baby Buddy Australia is currently being piloted by The University of Sydney in partnership with the Stillbirth Centre of Research Excellence and we would love your feedback.
