WORKS WITH NO INTERNET AT ALL

Every effect runs on your phone's own graphics chip. The app does not even ask for internet permission, so there is nothing to switch off and nothing to trust. Check the permission list yourself before you install. It works in airplane mode, on a plane, in a basement, or with mobile data switched off.

PERMISSIONS, PLAINLY

Camera permission is used for the live preview. Microphone permission is only used if you record video with sound, and you can decline it and still record silently. Photo access is only used when you pick an existing picture or save a new one.
