Designed for students to consume Online Degree content anytime and anywhere.

The Online Degree platform, powered by SWAYAM, is a learning management system designed for Educational Institutions to offer their Online and Distance Degree and Skill Development programmes. The platform further extends the vision of SWAYAM by and aims to increase the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) of the country. This effort also allows foreign students to access the best quality of education from Indian Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs).

The courses offered by HEIs are approved by UGC and the enrolment applications have to be done at the respective University. Once the enrolment applications are vetted by the University, they will enrol the learners to the respective programmes available in the platform. The contents developed by the Universities are as per the 4-quadrant approach of SWAYAM courses - (1) video lecture, (2) specially prepared reading material that can be downloaded/printed (3) self-assessment tests through tests and quizzes and (4) an online discussion forum for clearing the doubts. The Universities also appoint student mentors who will be supporting the learners in their online learning processes by clarifying their doubts on the academic content and monitoring their progress.

The Online Degree Android application is designed for students to consume all Online Degree content anywhere, anytime and anywhere.
