1945 Along with explanation

Act of 1945, today has undergone changes or amendments to four times. Amendments done because there is flexibility in 1945, and this is not a deviation from the 1945 Constitution itself. The purpose of this amendment is to strengthen the functions and positions 1945 to accommodate the growing political aspirations at this time by connecting it to the state goals to be achieved. Amendments made by the foundation of the applicable regulations. 1945 or '45 Constitution, is the basis of the written law (basic law), the constitution of the state government of the Republic of Indonesia today.

1945 was passed as statutes by state basis PPKI on August 18, 1945. Since December 27, 1949, in Indonesia applies the Constitution RIS, and since August 17, 1950 in Indonesia apply Provisional Constitution of 1950. Presidential Decree July 5, 1959 re-enact the 1945 , with confirmed unanimously by the House of Representatives on July 22, 1959.

In the period 1999-2002, 1945 experienced four times the change (amendment), which change the composition of the institutions in the constitutional system of the Republic of Indonesia.
