About USB Camera Server

Turn a USB/UVC camera into a local network stream - viewable in any browser.

USB Camera Server turns a USB/UVC camera connected to your Android device via OTG into a local network camera stream. Share a live feed across your Wi‑Fi or LAN so other devices can view the camera from any modern browser or HTTP/MJPEG-compatible client - without a PC or cloud service.

Open the app, connect a compatible USB camera, scan the QR code or open the local URL, and view the feed instantly from another device on the same network. Designed for quick setup and minimal overhead, USB Camera Server is perfect for web apps, inspections, kiosks, labs, photo booths, demonstrations, and temporary monitoring.

Key features

- Connect USB/UVC cameras over OTG (plug-and-play with supported devices)

- Serve live video over LAN via HTTP/MJPEG endpoints

- View the stream from any modern browser or HTTP/MJPEG-compatible client

- Lightweight local-only streaming — no cloud, no external servers

- Simple QR code and URL sharing for instant access

- Low-latency, suitable for inspection, microscope, endoscope, kiosk, and demo workflows

Ideal for

- Web apps that need external camera input

- Inspection and microscope setups

- Endoscope and inspection cameras

- Photo booth and kiosk systems

- Classroom, lab, and demo environments

- Temporary monitoring for retail, workshops, or events

Why choose USB Camera Server?

Most USB camera apps limit viewing to the Android device. USB Camera Server makes the camera available on your local network so other devices can open the feed in a browser or compatible HTTP/MJPEG viewer - fast, simple, and PC-free.

Important notes

- Requires a compatible USB/UVC camera and an Android device that supports USB OTG host mode

- Clients must be on the same Wi‑Fi or LAN to access the local stream

- Device hardware and Android version may affect performance and supported resolutions

- Current builds serve MJPEG over HTTP (open http://:8080/stream)
