In this tutorial, we look at how to expand an expression of the form (x+y)^n.

This type of expansion is called a binomial expansion.

We use Pascal's triangle to find the coefficients of the resulting polynomial of the binomial expansion.

Finally, we look at a formula for the binomial expansion (which uses combinations).
