Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj was the last of the ten Gurus, who transformed the Sikh faith. In 1699 he created the Khalsa (Pure), a community of the faithful who were trained as warriors to fight against tyrannical oppression. As we are gearing up to celebrate the 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, it is all the more important to spread awareness about the life and teachings of this great philosopher, thinker and preacher. 

The mobile application is aimed towards providing a historical life account of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj to a wide cross section of audiences with a first of its kind virtual reality experience of Gurudwara Takt Harmandir Sahib, Patna.

The biography of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj is the description of Guru Sahib life including the Khalsa Foundation and Battles that he fought to save the humanity. 

BATTLES

Here we have explained, how Guru Sahib led many wars to save the humanity but he always said to not to fight for revenge, greed or any other destructive goals.

FAMILY

In this section, we have described how Guru Sahib’s whole family including his four sons sacrificed their lives to save the humankind. We have also given description about his childhood, marriage and progeny in this section. 

HISTORIC GURDWARA

In this section, the description of Sikh Gurudwaras related to tenth Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj have been described namely Takht Shri Harmimandar Sahib, Patna Sahib (Bihar), Sachkhand Shri Hazur Sahib.

GURBANI

The Gurmat literature written by Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj is described in this section including explanation of some of his gurbani quotes.

MEDIA: 

In the media section, we have added the images & videos of historical Gurudwars, Guru ji’s family and other historical incidents. 

VIRTUAL REALITY:

For the first time ever in heritage/religious apps, a virtual reality component is being introduced. Through this, one gets to view the pious location of Takt Harmandir Sahib, Patna as if they are on location. Due to the heavy nature of this application, it is a stand alone app and will be integrated into the main app in a week.
