Rider down is an accident assistance application designed by bikers for bikers. While this app is running it can sense if you've been in an accident. If it senses an accident, it will automatically text the contact of your choosing your geographical location and nearest know address. Your contact can then notify local authorities of this and they can respond in the event you may have become incapacitated. This app can also be used for any motor vehicle. It has 2 modes of operation. 1st mode of operation is "pocket mode" you simply select a contact, put your phone in "sleep", place the phone in your pocket and ride off. The 2nd mode of operation is "navigation mode". Your app is linked to "Mapquest". Simply enter your destination and off you go. In both modes of operation your phone will automatically respond to anyone sending you text messages. The response simply lets them know you are currently keeping your carefully trained eyes on the road.'
