Red runner is basically an arcade platformer using an unorthodox double tap input; can’t say that this is the first game doing so but yes it is very rare.. The game is set in 7 Levels each of which have multiple obstacles and scenes.

Story Background:

Red and his brothers are the Sons of “The Rainbow God”; are trapped in a deadly illusion of a mystic land due to a curse by their uncle “The God of Reflections” who has a tremendous power to cast illusions on anyone. The spell says “ You would not stop, you would not stay; among those creatures, to whom you would be prey; either run with grace, through the fabric of space; you will jump and run without leaving a trail, always knowing that you will fail; you will have to try, or else you will die”

How to Play?

Aim is to find and travel through each and every portal there is to find and travel through it to cross obstacles and shoot enemies in multiple fantasy worlds of this smooth platformer.

The character will always run by default but you have the control over his jumping and shooting powers. The basic character will jump once from ground and if you tap again in air (or double tap), good news is that you can unlock characters with ability to jump thrice that is once from ground and twice in air (and the game becomes triple tap from double tap).

However only jump is enabled in 3 of 7 applicable levels giving user a single tap experience.

There are total 7 Locked characters which also have extra speed and bullets with much larger surface area. Giving the player more options and more fun.

The game is based on three set of moves which are Run, Jump, and Shoot. Every character i.e. a (son of rainbow) you unlock gives you extra power/better physics in either or even all of the moves which is a relief if you are serious about reaching the end of game.

• Tap on jump button to jump to jump once

• Press (and do not release) shoot button to shoot continuously

• SECRET: Press in middle of screen to jump and shoot with a single tap
