In accordance to the promise we made in January 2013 with sikh-sangat to provide a feature+ version of GurbaniVA-Lite, now we are here with GurbaniVA - the app you can use to:

* Do sehaj paath

* Search and read shabads along with keertan

* Keep all your favorite shabads in a bookmark-list

* Read english and/or gurmukhi (punjabi) translations

* Share gurbani on social networks (Facebook) with one-tap of finger

and much more...

The interface is simple yet innovative. There are four different tabs that provide different feature in the app and also leaves more space for shabads, which gives 'easy to read' experience to the user.

We officially support Android 2.3.3 - 4.2. But GurbaniVA can be used on literally any Android device (tested with 2.3 to 4.2) that has a touch sensitive screen and supports gestures.

Our gurmukh brothers and sisters who have been using GurbaniVA-Lite will find the interface very much similar to the feature-less version app - GurbaniVA-Lite. To navigate to next shabad tap on right side of the screen and similarly to navigate to previous one tap on left side. These are the most common gestures for all mobile devices and we hope you will like this change.

> To move in-between the tabs, simply tap on the intended tab or else swipe along that direction.

> To move to a particular shabad tap on options button and then select "Tatkara" from the menu.

> To toggle the english translation tap on options button and select "trans.".

> To toggle the gurmukhi translation tap on the options button and select "Arth".

> To mark a shabad as bookmark, tap on options button while you are in 1st (shabad) tab and select bookmark from the presented menu.

> To delete a bookmark - long tap on that bookmark and select "Yes" when asked to confirm the deletion.

> To move to a particular bookmarked shabad, simply just tap on that shabad in 2nd (bookmark) tab.

> To search a shabad, move to 3rd (search) tab and enter the "searchterm" using the gurmukhi keyboard. When done, tap on the search key on virtual-keyboard. Depending on the search term it might take few seconds before presenting you with the search results.

> To move to a particular shabad in result list, tap it.

> To clear the search results and start a new search, tap on options button and select "Clear".

> To share a shabad (and translations) on facebook move to 4th (share) tab and verify that shabad is in intended state if not go back to 1st tab and make changes accordingly. Once satisfied, tap on "Share on Facebook" button if you are not already logged into your facebook on your phone, you will be presented a login dialog otherwise shabad will be posted without any further input.

TROUBLESHOOTING - If you are facing any difficulty in using GurbaniVA, we recommend to delete app data, this should fix any incorrect shabad/index issue or else to re-install it after unistalling.

i. To delete app data: Home>Settings>App>GurbaniVA-Lite>Delete_Data.
