CheckrLite might be the first app designed to save lives without giving up privacy!

Simply put, Checkr Lite checks you up with intervals you given, it asks you if everything is ok and if you don't respond for any reason, it'll send SMS messages that includes your location to people you choose. By JUST ALERTING PEOPLE YOU CHOOSE TO ALERT, letting them decide what is the next good action is, you can be SAFER without giving up your PRIVACY.

Simply put, people wants privacy. And safety. But in most practices that makes a person more secure, that person usually gives up on their privacy. Checkr Lite addresses this issue by letting you have your privacy, as long as you can respond to a simple alarm. Even if you cannot respond to an alarm, it still alerts PEOPLE YOU CHOOSE. So that they can decide what might be the best next action.

Also, by checking if you can respond to an alarm, anything that prevents you to respond in time -like passing out, dropping phone by accident, having a car crash, being stuck etc etc...- triggers it. So it has a very wide area of application.

So where can you use it? For starters,

- It can prevent sad events happened like in movie "127 Hours".

- Any kind of outdoor recreation hiking, climbing, trekking etc.

- Living alone, by letting Checkr Lite check you up with large intervals, you might prevent many sad events that are very easy to handle if you can alert someone(breaking a leg away from any communication device, passing out etc).

- First dates might be a lot safer.(With paid version, you can also get PIN PROTECTION, so Checkr makes sure it is you who responded the alarm.)

- Driving a car for a long distance.

- Being a sex worker could be made greatly safer by Checkr Lite.

Some Notes:

- Checkr Lite will try to max out volume while alarming you. If you want to use Checkr Lite with just vibration, please consider buying paid version.(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kckinnovation.checkr)

- If your phones battery drains faster than you expect, please try to upgrade "Google Play Services". Some versions have a problem with locations and wakelocks.

- While you can choose the interval in lite version, if you want to change countdown time in alarm there is an option for that in paid version.(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kckinnovation.checkr)

- There might be a slight difference between the intervals you've given, and the intervals the application checks you up(<1min). This is not a bug, it reduces battery usage.

While Checkr Lite is an application designed to make your life more secure, it cannot guarantee it. There are many different Android phones out there, and they all behave differently. It might even not work on your device. If this is the case, please write a feedback from the application, and we'll try to improve its performance on your phone.

Checkr Lite will NEVER share your location in any way other than the people you choose to share your location with. It will never save or upload your location.
