Established in 1986 by Roger Prout, Border 4x4 has become well known as a specialist in the repair, maintenance and servicing of all types of 4x4 including land rover (Range Rover, Freelander, Discovery, 130, 110 and 90) Isuzu, Toyota, Mitsubishi and Jeeps. We hold a large stock of new and second-hand parts.

Gearbox repairs are another field which we can offer a comprehensive repair and reconditioning service, often saving the vehicle owner the expense of replacing the gearbox with a new unit.

Over the years we have expanded to include light and commercial recovery. This is available 24hours a day. Our small fleet of recovery and assistance vehicles currently include a Scanmmell Crusader, a Daf 85 with Roger Dyson Underlift, Mercedes 814 with Hiab and Toyota pick up for roadside assistance.
