Trusty (Panic/Crash Alert)

Trusty has been designed with road safety in mind. As soon as it is turned on, it silently runs in the background, constantly monitoring for the possibility of a collision. Whether riding on a motorcycle, a scooter, or an automobile, Trusty is there providing continuous protection.

Trusty has been engineered to detect collisions occurring at 15 mph (24 km/h) or above. To do this, it makes use of the accelerometer sensor on the host device to detect sudden changes in acceleration. As soon as a collision is detected, an alarm will sound. If the system does not receive any feedback from the user within 35 seconds, it will automatically send an alert SMS to the user's Emergency Contact(s). The alert message will notify them that the user of this app needs immediate help.

Furthermore, if the user ever feels in distress, they can press the red panic button (located on the top-right corner in the main screen). Those listed as Emergency Contacts will then receive an alert SMS informing them of the situation.
