Family Locator

Family Locator is specifically designed to keep a group of people (it may include family members, friends, colleagues etc) connected with each other. It shows latest location of each group members on map also allow to see their checked in locations and recently reached favorite places like home, office, gym etc. Group members can also do text as well as voice messaging with each other. It allow both direct as well as group messaging with the group members.

Family Locator can now be used anonymously. Data protection as well as the protection of your privacy is a top priority for us. Family locator provide user a facility to use the Application by using a permanent account as well as an anonymous account. If user don’t like to save its profile or like to audit the app anonymously then Family Locator allow users to sign In using Anonymously but in this way once they logout all of their data is discard and user cannot retrieve it later. While signing In using permanent account give user an edge to save its profile linked with an email address and password that include its nick name, profile picture, joined group, checked In locations and Marked places. User can retrieve its profile later by using the associated email address and password any time.

How to use:

1. Setting up profile by creating account (Anonymous or Sign In).

2. Allow family locator to use resources for tracking.

3. Users can become member of a group by joining an existing group or by creating a new one.

4. After joining a group you can get route from current location to any of the member’s location.

5. See check-ins, reached favorite places and auto marked visits of each member.

6. Enjoy group chat and direct messaging (text & voice).

Create or Join Group:

Users can become member of a group by joining an existing group or by creating a new one. One who create the group is assumed as admin of that group and is given by some extra rights to manage the group. Group Admin can invite someone to join the group and also it is given the right to accept or reject group joining requests. Admin can also delete that group. Whereas all the other members of group except admin as just members of group they cannot invite anyone to join the group or delete it. One can join a group by send a request to join to group admin using “group joining code”, if admin accept the request it becomes member of that group. Anyone in the group can leave group anytime.

Live Location Sharing:

Family Locator keep each member of group update about the latest location of each other group member. It shows their locations on Map along with their direction of movement.

My Places:

Family Locator allow users to mark a location as My Place. Doing this user not only can save that place but also when user reach to that place, all the other group members are notified about its visit to that place. User can label this place as Home, office, Gym or any other category of its desire. A “My Place” can also be edited or deleted later.

Check In locations:

This feature allow users to check-In the current location any time.

Messaging:

Group members can do voice as well as text messaging with each other. Members are also allowed to do direct messaging with specific group member and messaging in group.

Directions:

Users are allowed to find direction from their current location to the current location of any other member of group. It draws a direct path between both of the locations.
