Tag&Tap Multi

Tag&Tap Multi uses NFC and a real time database, storing Text and URL addresses.

TAG&TAP MULTI will interact with your surroundings storing a custom URL address and text into a NFC Tag, also will be able to send notifications to users, capable to store, update and read the information from a real time database. Once being tapped, the NFC Tag will trigger an action, through the user’s smartphones, bringing them to a new, comfortable, modern and great experience.

Business Need/ Opportunity:

Applicable to give to customers a great experience through the interaction with the company products, bring them to its website, giving more information about the company, products, promotions, media and much more. Could be used by Health System to store a URL or text about the patients’ medical records in a NFC Bracelet, for example or about anyone else with special needs. Also could be used as the new and modern way to write your notes and have your business card within a NFC Tag.

Project Objectives:

Implementing, through the Android Studio Tools, a simple but nice user interface to facilitate the app operation.

Use of NFC technology to give more comfortable experience to users by unnecessary use of third applications to read the information into the tag. Users do not need to download and install TAG&TAP MULTI to read the information.

Write the code that will make easy to customize the application for different companies and institutions and also make the app secure from external changes.

Reducing implementation costs by using of user’s NFC devices to read the tags, in other words, the users will have NFC technology built in into latest smartphones so won’t be necessary build or provide a new device. Use of NFC Tags, that doesn’t need battery, has being produced for third companies in the market and has low cost, with a cost of cents per unit.
