South of Perth Yacht Club is a family orientated yacht club located in Applecross, Western Australia and is just 10 minutes drive south of the city of Perth. The Club is positioned on the Swan and Canning Rivers and offers outstanding sailing and power boating waters for all levels of experience. We cater for all boating interests – competitive keelboat and centreboard sailing, ocean racing and power yacht time trialling. The Club has an active Sailability Programme for sailors with a disability or wishing to learn sail. The Sailing Academy provides learn to sail programmes for children, adults and schools and promotes youth development. If this is not for you and you prefer messing around in boats or just pottering about on the river, we can help. The river and city views from the Clubrooms and facilities are some of the most picturesque in Perth so social membership may be just what you and the family are looking for. Our Member and private function facilities are top notch and the Club is a popular venue for weddings, engagements, corporate functions and daily dining.
