== Reliable Background Uploads ==

SchoolCam uploads photos and videos from the device to the school’s Google Drive folders. When a teacher takes multiple photos or videos, uploads may continue after the app is minimized or while the teacher uses another app.

To make these uploads reliable, SchoolCam uses Android’s foreground service for data sync. During active uploads, Android shows a persistent upload notification with the current upload status. This helps ensure that school photos and videos are safely transferred to Google Drive and are not interrupted before the upload is complete.
