Salmo 123

1 To you I lift up my eyes, to you who occupy your throne in heaven.

2 As the eyes of servants are toward the hand of their master, and as the eyes of female servants are toward the hand of their mistress, so our eyes are toward the Lord our God, waiting for him to have mercy on us.

3 Mercy, Lord! Have mercy on us! We are already tired of so much contempt.

4 We are tired of the mocking of the proud and the contempt of the arrogant.
