Dial-a-bus regions

Rubi does not have a fixed timetable, but operates within operating times. In the service time you can specify your route and the desired departure time. A change from or to other means of transport is possible.

Rubi is on the road for you in the following dial-a-bus regions.

Dial-a-bus region 1: Mecklenburg Switzerland Office and City of Teterow, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dial-a-bus region 2: Gnoien and Ticino offices, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The start and end point is always a stop.

Ticketing

To book a trip with rubi, first select the dial-a-bus region in which you want to start. Then there are three very simple steps.

1. Select the starting stop and the destination stop.

2. Enter the desired departure time and other details, for example the number of people or whether you are taking a wheelchair with you.

3. Confirm all details and start with rubi.

After booking, the app shows you when a vehicle will pick you up from your starting point and at what time you will arrive at your destination. You can also see the license plate number and the vehicle type. You can also use the app to track exactly where the vehicle is currently located. If the vehicle is from one of our partner companies, you will also see the name of the respective partner company in the app.

Ticket purchase and prices

All rubi journeys are integrated into the tariff of the Verkehrsverbund Warnow (VVW) and are supplemented by a comfort surcharge of € 1 per person. You can purchase the full range of VVW tickets from our staff. The fare with rubi (and other connecting trips) is based on the tariff zones of the VVW, which are traveled through on the booked route. Tickets that have already been purchased, for example as a MobileTicket or from pre-sale, entitle you to travel within the purchased tariff zones if they are valid for a certain period of time. In any case, the comfort surcharge is added to the fare. Children under 6 years of age and people with a valid ID card for the severely handicapped are exempt from the comfort supplement. There is no comfort surcharge for taking bicycles, strollers, wheelchairs, animals or other items with you. The common conditions of carriage and tariff regulations of the VVW apply.

If you do not yet have a driver's license, you can get one from our staff in the vehicle. Please note that only cash payments are possible in the vehicle. For those who already have a valid ticket, only the comfort surcharge of € 1 has to be paid in cash to the staff in the vehicle.
