Over the last decade, forensic exploitation has had a profound impact on the battlefield. The attribution of an enemy attack, whether via explosives or firearms, can now be traced back to a weapon or an individual through the fusion of intelligence and forensics. The Army’s Forensic Exploitation Directorate provides the Department of Defense a deployable, forensics exploitation lab capability that is a battlefield enabler and has multiple applications across the range of military operations. Commanders can use expeditionary forensics to support the development of timely actionable intelligence, support follow-on operations, and as a critical component of the targeting cycle.

FXD AR/VR Viewer is a unique experience where users are able to get an inside glimpse into a deployed forensics exploitation lab, as well as an AR experience for event interaction.
