Where ever you may be; whether it's at the supermarket shopping around for deals, or at a local event looking for directions or information, RichBeacon will show you the way.

RichBeacon is an application that actively scans for nearby RichBeacons that provide useful data in the form of media. It is a proximity based application that displays information received from a RichBeacon.

Information comes in the form of images, videos, or HTML depending on the distance to the beacon (immediate, near, far). The RichBeacon App may read multiple beacons in range. Bluetooth 4.0 must be enabled for your device to scan nearby RichBeacons. As you approach the beacon, the media will change as you move.

By default you see a list view of all nearby RichBeacons. By clicking on a listing, you will then see specific and contextual media based on your proximity to the beacon. You can also view all beacons near you by looking at the 'Radar' view. The RichBeacon App can work with any RichBeacon.

Requires Bluetooth 4.0 on your smartphone.

Business owners must register at www.richbeacon.com and be equipped with 1 or more RichBeacons sold by Richmob.
