About Rhinos Skin

English

This is adapted from a story by British author Rudyard Kipling.

"How the Rhinoceros Got His Skin" is adapted from a story by British author Rudyard Kipling. Once upon a time, the rhino's skin was smooth and tight. But he was mean and nasty, and in the story the cantankerous animal is taught a lesson. The story teaches a valuable lesson that both kids and adults will take to heart. Kipling was born in India and spent the first six years of his childhood there. After about ten years in England, he went back to India and worked there for about six-and-half years. These stories were written when Kipling lived in Vermont, USA. Kipling was an English poet, short-story writer, and novelist chiefly remembered for his celebration of British imperialism, tales and poems of British soldiers in India, and his tales for children. He is also the author of Jungle Book. Click on "Read to Me" to have the application read the book, with the pages turning automatically. To read it manually, click on "I Will Read."
