Private Family Shopper

A private synchronized shopping list where you retain control over your data.

Family Shopper keeps a shopping list synchronized between your family members.

The goal is to protect the privacy of your data by allowing you to choose where to save your list. This first version supports only Firebase as a storage option, but the long term goal is to have multiple storage options.

To get started with the syncing, you will need to have a Firebase(Data) URL. Firebase account creation instructions are available at www.firebase.com. Once you have a Firebase account, follow the instructions to create a new (either free or paid) Firebase App which will give you an App URL. When you have the URL, update the settings in Family Shopper with it and enable the integration.

To synchronize the list with other people, share your app URL with them and have their Family Shopper integration with Firebase enabled.
