VISION

Our vision is nothing less than to illustrate the benefits of pretax payroll deductions for student loans — reduced default rates, reduced taxable income for borrowers, and economic growth through increased spending.

MISSION

Pretax Progress's sole purpose is to bring the discussion of pretax payroll deductions for student loan payments to life through public outreach, letters to legislators, and to the President of the United States himself. We stand to provide a platform that lets our voice be heard.

MANDATE

Founders of Pretax Progress will keep this cause alive through:

Continual funding of this website - it serves as the platform in which we can come together as one voice;

Sending daily letters to the President of the United States, Barack Obama.

Reach out to educational activists, bloggers, and the media.

HISTORY

In August of 2014, a petition was started by Kaleb Hoffer on the White House's We the People site. This first initial step to inspire change had an overwhelming positive response but lacked the signatures needed to get the President's attention. Determined to make a difference, pretaxprogress.org was born.
