In October 2015, Columbia SC endured a catastrophic rain storm unprecedented in history. Nearly 20 inches of rain fell on the city in just over 24 hours. Dams broke and much of the city flooded. Roads were washed away, and neighbors were rescued by boats in apartment complexes. Many people lost everything they owned. Local government and churches of different denominations all came together cooperatively to help the people of the region. This app was quickly developed to encourage prayer support for the city, the region, and the people who made it special.
