About PPBM:

The Malaysian United Indigenous Party or Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM / BERSATU) is a political party in Malaysia. The party is led by the former fourth Malaysian Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad as Chairman and Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as President.

BERSATU considered a Malay nationalist party or Malay supremacy. According to the party constitution, its essence is to fight to support the ideals of Malay nationalism in order to maintain the honor and dignity of the nation, religion and country. It is also a fight for the rights of the Malays and the Bumiputera slogan: Forward, Justice and Prosperous.

The party's full membership is open to all Bumiputeras; which include Malays, natives from Sabah and Sarawak as well as the Orang Asli community. In addition, non-bumiputeras can also join the party as associate members. However, associate members are ineligible to vote and contest in party elections but qualified individuals can be appointed to certain key party posts.
