Pixel Art

Pixel Art is a pixel graphics editor for your phone. Draw game sprites, icons, avatars and seamless tiles: the canvas, palette and tools all stay under your thumb. No sign-up, no internet, and your work saves itself.

DRAWING

• Pencil, brush, eraser, fill, color picker and clone stamp

• Line, frame, filled block, circle and filled circle

• Undo and redo, grid over the pixels, pinch zoom and fit-to-screen

• Canvas from 8 × 8 to 1024 × 1024, presets 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512

• Symmetry: vertical axis, horizontal or both — the other half repeats itself

COLOR

• Built-in palette and four gradients of 20 shades each

• Custom color: a saturation × brightness field, a hue bar and HEX input

• Custom palettes: save a set of colors and reuse it in any artwork

• Pixel of the day — a topic and four colors, the same for everyone, plus a daily streak

PHOTO TO PIXEL ART

• A photo from your gallery is scaled down to the canvas and reduced to 8, 16, 32 or 64 colors

• You see the result next to the original before it lands on the canvas

ANIMATION AND TILES (PRO)

• Layers: a stack per artwork with visibility, duplicate and merge down

• Frame-by-frame animation: a frame strip and preview from 2 to 24 frames per second

• GIF export — the file goes straight to Pictures / Pixel Art

• Seamless tile mode: neighbouring copies around the canvas show how the edges meet

FILES AND EXPORT

• Open PNG and JPG from the gallery

• Save as PNG at ×1, ×8, ×16 and ×32 — upscaled with no smoothing, a pixel stays a square
