Why this name? Simply to refer to the Mystères de Paris (1842-43) by Eugène Sue (cf., p.69: «M. Pipelet, le portier, momentanément absent, était représenté par madame Pipelet» and p.265: «C'est vrai ... s'écria aigrement la Pipelet»).

In French pipelet or pipelette, designate an excessively talkative, curious person, gossiping.

This application takes part of this definition to apply it to your documents and gives them an additional dimension.
