THE PHILIPPINE CABLE TELEVISION ASSOCIATION INC. (PCTA) is the umbrella organization of cable television operators in the Philippines. Its membership roster includes the biggest cable operators in the country as well as the medium and small cable operators who, through their pain-staking efforts, have succeeded in bringing up-to-date programs, information, and technology to the farthest island in the country.

The theme of this year’s PCTA Convention, an event organized annually by the Philippine Cable TV Assoc., reflects three areas critical to the growth of Cable TV operators in the country today: Content. Connectivity. Consumer.

The theme was also devised to afford delegates better time management during the four-day event that will be held at the SMX Mall of Asia in Pasay City, Metro Manila, from March 24-27, 2015. Convention Chairman Dr. Venancio Lo outlined that topics on Content are scheduled to be discussed in the morning of March 26. Connectivity issues, meanwhile, will be tackled in the afternoon of the same day. Finally, matters concerning Consumer will be handled in the morning of March 27. The largest gathering of Cable TV industry players, the PCTA Convention 2015 is co-presented by Creative Programs, Inc. It is also sponsored by Fox International Channels, Cable Box Office Shows & Systems Corp., Trinity Broadcasting Network, Solar Entertainment Corp., Asian Cable Communications, Inc., Viva Communications, Home Box Office, TV5Monde Asia Pacific, Al Jazeera Media Network, France Medias Monde, Euronews and MCN International Pte.
