Owlegories is a Christ-centered, interactive storybook app that teaches kids about God through the wonderful allegories, metaphors, and analogies found in nature and revealed in God’s word, the Bible.

Our hope is that Owlegories can be used to help kids see God when they play outside. We want kids to know that the God who created the mighty Sun is the same God who cares for them individually. He is not an impersonal far off God, but a loving God who sent his son to die on the cross for our sins and redeem His creation. You can tell a lot about an artist by what he creates, and we believe the same applies to God.

Owlegories is a family project. It was created and put together with the help of my wife and two kids and a whole bunch of awesome family and friends. We hope you enjoy it. LEARN ABOUT GOD THROUGH HIS CREATION

The focus of Owlegories is to use the amazing things found in creation as an allegory, metaphor, or analogy of the different characteristics of God found in the Bible. Psalm 19:1-4 says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."

DISCOVER INTERSTING FACTS ABOUT NATURE

God's creation is endlessly fascinating. So we made it a point to scatter interesting facts about nature throughout the Owlegories app. Our hope is to give kids an appreciation for the intricate details of God's creation. It helps give perspective too. We all know the Sun is big, but once you hear that 1.3 million earth's could fit inside it, it really helps you understand the size and power of the Sun.

EXPLORE OWLEGORIES WITH FUN, INTERACTIVE ANIMATIONS

Owlegories is packed with fun animations and interactions throughout the entire app. And our plan is to keep adding more and improve each app as time goes on. Kids can make the owls fly around the page, snowboard across a jump, water plants and watch them grow, rocket into space, and cannonball into a beautiful river.

HEAR GOD'S WORD WITH RELEVANT VERSES THROUGHOUT

God can certainly be seen in creation, after all, Romans 1:20 tells us that "since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made,so that people are without excuse." But we believe the best way to hear God is by reading (and listening to) His word, the Bible. So we put verses all though Owlegories for your kids to hear.
