Don't you just love it when a substitute teacher fills in for the day?

It's just like a snow day (well, except for all you who live in warmer

climates, but you get the idea). Yeah, you torment the teach,

make all sorts of weird barn noises, and, when asked, say that

"Mrs. Onglethorp never gives us homework on Wednesdays."

If only every day you could have a substitute teacher. Like, how

much more fun could school be?

You haven't met Miss Thorb.

She's traveled more than 250 million miles (33.9 million during some

times of the year) to Earth. She's the substitute 4th grade teacher

from Mars who is often called in on those difficult cases. Take

the kids at Enderfink Elementary in Topeka, for example.

Not 'Pika,' that planet that orbits that dwarf star in the Gamma

Quadrant that someone said was named for a mouse that whistles,

but Topeka, the city in Kansas.

Yeah, well she was only in class for less than 20 minutes when she

discovered that her students know like nothing about the universe.

"Nine planets? What?" So she decides to straighten them out.
