લાખો લડાવ્યા લાડ તમને, કોડ સૌ પૂરા કર્યા,

એ કોડના પૂરનારના, કોડ પૂરવા ભૂલશો નહિ.

લાખો કમાતા હો ભલે, મા-બાપ જેનાથી ના ઠર્યા,

એ લાખ નહિ પણ રાખ છે, એ માનવું ભૂલશો નહિ.

સંતાનની સેવા ચાહે, સંતાન છો સેવા કરો,

જેવું કરો તેવું ભરો,એ ભાવના ભૂલશો નહિ.

ભીને સૂઇ પોતે અને સુકે સુવાડ્યા આપને,

એ અમિમય આંખને, ભુલીને ભિંજવશો નહિ.

પુષ્પો બિછાવ્યા પ્રેમથી, જેણે તમારા રાહ પર,

એ રાહબરના રાહ પર, કંટક કદી બનશો નહિ,

એના પુનિત ચરણો તણી, ચાહના કદી ભૂલશો નહિ.

हर बात को तुम भूलो भले, माँ बाप मत भूलना।

उपकार इनके लाखों है, इस बात को मत भूलना॥

धरती देवों को पूजा, भगवान को लाख मनाया है,

तब तेरी सूरत पायी है, संसार में तुझ को बुलाया है।

इन पावन लोगो के दिलों को पथ्थर बन मत तोडना,

हर बात को तुम भूलो भले, माँ बाप मत भूलना॥

अपने ही पेट को काटा है, और तेरी काया सजाया है,

अपना हर कौर खिलाया तुझे, तब तेरी भूख मिटाई है।

इन अमृत देने वालो के जीवन ज़हर मत घोलना,

हर बात को तुम भूलो भले, माँ बाप मत भूलना॥

जो चीज भी तुमने मांगी है, वो सब कुछ तुमने पाया है,

हर जिद को लगा सीने से बड़ा तुमसे नेह जताया है।

इन प्यार लुटाने वालो का तुम प्रेम प्यार मत भूलना,

हर बात को तुम भूलो भले, माँ बाप मत भूलना॥

चाहे लाख कमाई धन दौलत, यह बंगला कोठी बनाई है,

माँ बाप बिना न खुश है तेरे, बेकार यह कमाई है।

यह लाख नहीं यह ख़ाक है सब, इस राज को मत भूलना,

हर बात को तुम भूलो भले, माँ बाप मत भूलना॥

गीले में सदा ही सोए हैं, सूखे में तुझ को सुलाया है,

बाहों का बना कर के झूला, तुझ दिन और रात झुलाया है।

इन निर्मल निश्छल आँखों में इक आंसू भी मत घोलना,
