Shaykh Hani Ar-Rifai was born in 1974 in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has 5 children (two boys and three girls). Currently he serves as Imam and Khatib at Anani Mosque in Jeddah.

His recitation of the Qur'an is known to be full of cries and vibrations that make the hearts and hearts of his hearers tremble, fear of the hereafter, the fear of sin, remembering at least the provision of return and the journey that will be taken. So many people are interested in listening to his reading so tunable.

Shaykh Hani grew up in a family environment that loved the Koran, and of course made the Qur'an lesson a very important lesson in the family. He was very grateful to grow in the religious environment, which eventually formed his personality to the present day.

At the age of 12 years, Shaykh Hani has completed all 30 juz memorized. He studied the Koran from some prominent Shaikh, such as Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdurrahim, Shaykh Ali Jabir, and Shaykh Muhammad Yusuf.

He specializes in Islamic Sciences at King Abdul Aziz University, and takes knowledge from the hands of the best scholars there and some other Shaykhs like al-Allamah Shaykh Abdallah bin Bayyah, Shaykh Khaldun al-Ahdab, and Shaykh Ali Jabir .

In addition, Shaykh Hani Ar-Rifai was also elected a special royal palace Qari by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Culture and Information. He was also chosen as the personal Qari of King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud from 1998 to the year of his death.

From 1998 to 2002, Shaykh worked as a teacher at different public schools in Saudi Arabia. He was later appointed as director of legal affairs at King Faisal Hospital and Research Center in Jeddah.
