MammoAlert™ by POC Medical Systems Inc. circumvents the traditional problems associated with screening mammography by avoiding the cultural, geographic, and cost barriers that keep most women from being screened.

In contrast to traditional lab based ELISAS and mammography, MammoAlert™ only requires a single drop of blood and does not need to be administered by a highly trained technician. The drop of blood is transferred from the patient’s fingertip using a pipette and then loaded into the sample port. From there, the process is automatic and requires no transferring or intervention to achieve next steps.

The results from MammoAlert™ are delivered right to a mobile device via our app. The physician, who does not need to be present at the patient testing site, can receive results remotely and make an immediate decision about next steps. This allows new access to screening for millions of women worldwide.
