A digital journey through the modern and contemporary architecture in Liguria

The application development was created with the intention of making the selection and interactive navigation between sheets of these Ligurian architectures using a series of filters related to the designers 'data, the historical period, the type and the current use of' architecture as well as its geographical location in Liguria.

These possibilities must be added the ability to filter the items by a free text search or through a selection of terminologies divided into specific sections.

Through different items on the menu and screens it is possible to search, select and combine the individual architectures in a list of favorites or plan a route with up to 25 points of interest.

Using geolocation systems it is possible to verify the distance of the architecture with respect to its position and also understand how much time is required to achieve them.

The LigurArch900 application collects the results of the research project "Census and filing of modern and contemporary architecture complexes in Liguria" designed, financed and built by the then Regional Directorate for Cultural Heritage and Landscape, today the Regional Secretariat of MiBACT for Liguria , by Regione Liguria and the Department of Architecture and Design - DAD (already Sciences for Architecture - DSA) of the University of Genoa, under the Framework program "heritage and cultural Activities III integrative - intervention BF -10 - designs for the development of key strategic programs in the field of culture. "
