Prof. Dr. Haji Hamka or more known as Buya Hamka. He was born in Agam, West Sumatra, more precisely in Sungai Batang, Tanjung Raya, on February 17, 1908. He is an Indonesian poet, scholar, philosopher and political activist. She grew up in a traditional Minangkabau, Buya Hamka in primary school only up to class two from India. Since young, he is known as a wanderer. Hamka was known as a moderate. He never uttered a loud, rude especially in communication. He would rather choose to write novels or short stories to convey moral messages of Islam. He died at the age of 73 years, in Jakarta, on 24 July 1981.
