TrigoMeter is used when you are physically in front of a Trigonometric beacon. Please download TrigoSearch if you are actually intended to search the beacons around you.
The only way to know how accurate your handset GPS can be, is to compare the coordinates it returns at a place with known coordinates. This application allows you to do a fairly casual comparison at the Trigonometrical/Traverse Stations in Hong Kong, with the ability to display the current WGS84/HK1980 Grid Coordinates, and also the satellite status. Please bear in mind that this application is for casual use only. You will need a survey grade GPS if you need to determine precise point positions, or please seek advise from professional land surveyors.
