Details: SecureMSG implements the DOD (Department of Defense) standards for encrypting "Top Secret" data by properly implementing Initialization Vectors and Salting all password to create a unique encryption key. After encrypting, data is Base64 encoded for ease of use in any application capable of handling plain text.
