REEN Field

The REEN Field app compliments the REEN service and enables easy configuration of sites, containers, and sensor installations using your mobile phone or tablet.

REEN customers can use the app to scan sensor and container NFC tags or QR codes to instantly assess the status of containers and sensors, check the activation status of sensors, verify connectivity of sensors, and perform all necessary installation and configuration tasks, including new installations, replacement of sensors and swapping of containers.

The app also supports the creation of new sites, using the GPS coordinates of the phone or tablet, as well as updating the coordinates of existing sites which may have been derived from the address and are not sufficiently accurate.

When taking site, container, or sensor installation photos, it is recommended to hold your mobile device in landscape orientation to achieve the best results.

We recommend the installation and use of QRbot https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.qrbot for reliable QR code and barcode scanning functionality.

The app requires an REEN user account. Configuration management privileges are required for most features.

Android v6 may require you to manually grant the app permissions to access the camera, your location, and local storage.
