Pass Code Prompter

Application aims to simplify finding two-factor authentication codes within received text messages* on Android Wear smart-watches

This is achieved by definition of code recognition templates, which lets application to filter out specific messages by matching predefined text and numeric value of a set length within them. Contrary to native Android Wear notifications, where it's sometimes hard to find necessary code value within long message, Pass Code Prompter displays recognized code using large font and contrast background. In addition to that there's also a full text of the received message displayed on the same screen to provide even more control options over automatically detected code. All of the codes received in this manner are stored locally on watch until they are expired (expiry time is considered equal to 5 minutes since the time when notification was received), after code is expired it is removed from watch storage automatically. Also it's possible to dismiss used codes by touching pass code card header icon.

Mobile application provides configuration facilities and allows to create code recognition templates. When template is created, values of sender and message text are populated using values from previous received notification automatically, therefore, to reduce template creation efforts it's advised to configure them right after receiving relevant messages. Otherwise it's also possible to pick contact name from phone contact list and automatically paste clipboard contents into pattern body area. If you feel confident in your regex skills, then switch to power user mode by holding digits number picker and modify regular expression at will. Patterns can be easily deactivated by pressing icon of the template line. To help learn the ropes of templates configuration there is a command to create a notification stub with several codes of different lengths.

Mobile application also contains utility, which allows to delete existing text messages relevant to already defined recognition patterns. This may simplify task of keeping text message storage clean omitting necessity for manual deletion of similar messages with codes one-by-one.

DISCLAIMER: delete code messages utility is not an archive tool! If user agrees to delete selected messages, they WILL BE REMOVED from the message database and THIS ACTION IS IRREVERSIBLE. Considering that code recognition templates are fully configurable and may be defined so that messages with important information will be selected as well, developer is not responsible for any possible data loss due to user actions in this utility. This utility doesn't provide complete message processing capabilities apart from fallback scenario for text messages received during the time this utility was active (they are written to system storage), therefore it's highly recommended to start it in airplane mode so that no data is lost. Use at your own risk.
