RCMC(Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate)는 수출업자에게 발급됩니다.

As stated by the Foreign Trade Policy, a Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) is required for exporters in order to avail benefits under the policy. Holding the certificate can also help exporters in availing benefits with respect to Customs and Excise.

APEDA has been designated as the authority to issue RCMC to exporters. APEDA’s RCMC Mobile application has now been designed to ease the process of registration for the exporters/ stakeholders.

As per the running RCMC process on the basic web based portal, mobile app is a miniature system that brings the service at the fingertips of the exporters. Just by filling up a few fields and submitting necessary documents, one can easily obtain Registration-cum-Membership certificate.

Enlisted below are the various processes that are covered by the RCMC system:

-> Sign Up:

As an initial step the user needs to fill in their IE Code, company name, Email ID, Mobile number and enter the captcha to proceed and create their profile. By signing up, the users register themselves with APEDA’s RCMC.

->OTP Verification:

During the Sign Up process, user is authenticated with the use of OTP verification. The OTP code is sent to the Email as well as the provided phone number. The user needs to enter the OTPs received on their email as well as mobile number. In addition to the OTPs, the user also needs to enter the captcha code. Such tight-knit verification method ensures online security.

Application Details:

This section consists of three parts: Company details, Company branch details and Partner/ Proprietor details.

-> Company Details- Here, the user needs to enter their IE code, company name, address and other basic details. The next part of this form requires the user to enter the type of exporter they are.

-> Company Branch Details- User with multiple branches needs to properly enter all details of each branch.

-> Partner/ Proprietor Details- This field requires entity type and SC/ST documentation (if applicable).

Supporting Document: Here, the user needs to upload all the documents that support the information and details entered by them. In addition to these documents, the user may upload related licenses and certifications issued by government.

-> Payment Gateway: Similar to the one on APEDA Website, the payment gateway on RCMC mobile app securely processes application fees and payments.

Initially, the app only supported registration process but recently, it has been upgraded with a new feature, .i.e., Exporter's Login. The aim of this feature is to allow exporters to view their RCMC certificate, apply for modification/renewal.

Exporter Login: Once exporters' application is verified by APEDA, it issues an RCMC certificate, which is validated for 5 years. The certificate consists of RCMC No. , User ID and Password which are used by exporters to log into their account.

After log-in the user can access following features:

-> Company Profile: The exporter can check all the details that he/she has provided during registration.

-> View RCMC Certificate: The user can view and download his/her RCMC certificate.

-> Apply For Modification: The user is allowed to modify its details through the application. Like, if the exporter wants to add some new products or amend the validity period, they can apply for modification. Also, no additional fees or charges required, while modifying the details.

-> Apply For Renewal: Within 2 months before the expiration of the certificate, the exporter can apply for renewal through the application. While applying for renewal, the exporter again needs to pay registration fees to APEDA.

Also, if the exporter did not apply within 2 months before expiration of the certificate, then he/she would have to Apply for Modification defining the purpose to amend the validity period.

-> View Status of Modification/Renewal: Allow exporters to check their modification/renewal status on the application.
