In the latest effort by Jefferson Township Police to increase the department’s accessibility and communication with the community, JTPD has released a smartphone application that will connect users directly to the Jefferson Township Police Department from their smartphone.

The JTPD app includes features for checking on the latest JTPD news, including Twitter updates and Facebook posts. It can also be used for sharing feedback and questions, signing up for and receiving Jefferson Township OEM Emergency Alerts, and much more. Users can commend a police officer with the app, and submit crime tips by submitting a photo or document location data with their tip information.
