Simply put, we are animal-lovers. But that love comes with its challenges!
When you believe that animals deserve dignity...
When you give pets a second (or third, or fourth) chance through adoption...
When you try to help any cat or dog dropped on your doorstep...
When you provide emergency vet services, food, shelter and (of course) love...
There is a price.
Luckily, we are able to retain an absolutely brilliant staff of volunteers.
Therefore, all donations to our facility truly help animals.
Since 1978, PAWS for Life has relied entirely on donations to save thousands of animals. We invite you to share in our important mission.
PAWS is a private animal shelter. We operate on "limited admission" based on space, staffing and adopt-ability.

The Sandra and Clyde Young wing of the PAWS For Life Animal Shelter has received LEED® Platinum Certification.
This highest level of Certification is a reward for the Board’s perseverance and commitment to the project. Of course, the best reward is increased animal adoption due to a great facility. The only other LEED® Certified Platinum shelter in Colorado is the Denver Animal Shelter.
